I have used Currensea from my apple wallet without any issues all over Europe and Latin America. The exchange rate has been good too.

I use UP card when I travel overseas. Seamless fee free transactions. I haven't checked the conversion rate but it seems well regarded in ither review sites and offers advice and incentives for savings goals. I have a digital and physical card. Backed by bendigo bank which is another thing in its favour and they are proactive against fraudulent transactions. I wouldn't trust the negative reviews from my perdonal experience.
